About Us

Pantera International is an international car club founded in 1973 and established as a California non-profit corporationin 1975. Our mission is to promote the sport and pastime of owning and driving De Tomaso automobiles. We were once authorized by the De Tomaso factory, although the factory has been out of business since 2004.  

We are not a social club; we are a club similar in nature to the Automobile Club, dedicated to putting owners and enthusiasts of classic De Tomaso automobiles in-touch with the information they need to purchase, maintain, repair, refurbish, emend, and above all else, to enjoy their car. We provide a platform enabling owners and enthusiasts to interact; to ask questions, to share information, and to share photos. The first platform was a quarterly newsletter. We began publishing the newsletter in 1974. The newsletter evolved into a quarterly magazine in 1991. Our internet forums, having been established in 2000, superseded the magazine in 2007.
